John Lewandowski, the owner and president of Approved Protection Systems, is passionate about a few key things. As a customer of Approved Protection Systems, you will find that he is passionate about providing you with the best customer service available within our industry. Another very important passion for John is to give back. To give back to the community we serve. John does this through the company as well as personally, both by volunteering and donating. John’s “away from work” passion is bike riding. Whether it’s crossing the beautiful state of Michigan, the United States, or as far away as New Zeeland, John has been there and has clocked many hours in the saddle.
John is again getting ready to saddle up his bike and, once again, it’s in an effort to give back, and anyone that enjoys the beautiful state of Michigan and visits its public beaches will be rewarded by his efforts!
John is biking to raise money for the Pilgrim Haven Natural Area
Pilgrim Haven is a 26-acre preserve along the shores of Lake Michigan. The Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy has protected this property, and is working now to…
…create public access so that this beautiful, natural beachfront area can be opened for the community to enjoy.
John will pedal over 18,800 vertical feet during a 6-day bike ride through Bryce Canyon National Park in southwestern Utah from October 5-11. All proceeds from John’s bicycle ascent will go toward the infrastructure necessary to create barrier-free access to open Pilgrim Haven to the public.
Sponsor John in his ride! You can sponsor John by the day ($10/day would be a $60 sponsorship), by the foot climbed (1 penny per foot would be $188 sponsorship), or however else you would like! All sponsorships and donations are welcome, and will help the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy reach their goal of opening Pilgrim Haven to all Michiganders.
